Trivia

    Album

  • This film was Dattaram Wadkar's debut as music director. Raj Kapoor, who was producing the film, had approached his regular music directors, Shankar - Jaikishan, first. Since the film was a low-profile one and Raj Kapoor was not starring in it, Shankar - Jaikishan decided to give their assistant, Dattaram Wadkar, a break and recommended him to Raj Kapoor.[1]

    Song

  • Chhun Chhun Karti Aayi Chidiya - In an interview, Dattaram Wadkar, attributed to this song the genesis of the famous dholak rhythm that came to be known by his name in Hindi film circles - "Dattaram theka" or "Dattu theka".[2]
