Trivia

    Album

  • This was Kaifi Azmi's debut as lyricist in Hindi films.[MR8]

    Song

  • Jhan Jhan Jhan Jhan Paayal Baaje - The origin of this song is a classical song "Jhan Jhan Jhan Jhan Paayal Mori Baaje" composed by Ustad Faiyaz Khan based on raag Nat Bihag. S.D. Burman took permission from him and adapted it to a Bengali composition he himself sang, "Jhan Jhan Monjiro Baaje", and then into this song, sung by Lata Mangeshkar.[1][2][3]
