Trivia

    Album

  • This was R.D. Burman's debut movie as music director. He did compose music for the movie "Raaz" (1959), but it was not released.
  • The was the first film of Mahmood's son and present day singer, Lucky Ali.

    Song

  • Ilahi Tu Sun Le Hamari Dua - Rafi mimics a child in the song, singing Hamari as Hamali, Pyar as Pyal, etc.
  • Matwali Ankhonwale - The music for this song was conceived on the sets of Miya Bibi Razi (1960) on which R.D. Burman was assisting his father, music director S.D. Burman. Mehmood, who had a role in the film, had been fascinated by the Flamenco dance during a recent trip abroad and demonstrated it to the unit. Pancham and some others clapped to the dance's rhythm and came up with a tune that was later incorporated into this song.
  • Ghar Aaja Ghir Aaye Badra Saanwariya - The tune for this song was composed by R. D. Burman for the movie "Raaz" which was not released.
