    Song

  • Emosanal Attyachar (Brass Band Version) - The inspiration for this song was triggered by another song from this film "Pardesi". When Anurag Kashyap heard it the first time, he misheard the phrase "agge yaar" as "atyachar". He later realized his mistake but wanted to use the word "atyachar". Still later the phrase "emosanal atyachar" struck and he asked Amit Trivedi and Amitabh Bhattacharya to make a song using this phrase. Anurag also wanted to fulfill in this song, his long standing desire to re-create a song he had come across from the obscure 1988 film "Om Darbadar", that used the brass band common in North Indian celebrations.
  • Emosanal Attyachar (Brass Band Version) - Bandmasters Rangila and Rasila credited in this song are really the lyricist and music director of the song, Amitabh Bhattacharya and Amit Trivedi. The real identity of Rangila and Rasila was kept a secret at the time of the film's release to generate curiosity about the song.
  • Emosanal Attyachar (Brass Band Version) - Anurag Kashyap had originally wanted to shoot this song on music director Amit Trivedi and lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya. He had to change plans though because Amit and Amitabh were busy with "Aamir" and instead roped in his assistant director Vasan Bala, associate director Nitin Chainpuri and actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui to play member of the band "Patna Ke Presley". The name of the band was suggested by Vasan Bala.
