Trivia

    Song

  • Sapna Mera Toot Gaya - This song is an adaptation of Ennio Morricone's "The Story Of A Soldier" from the movie "The Good, The Bad And The Ugly". R.D. Burman had recorded this tune earlier for the Bengali song "Swapno Amar Hariye Geche" written by Sachin Bhowmick, which he himself had sung.[1][2]
  • Humne Tumko Dekha Tumne Humko Dekha Aise - R.D. Burman gave singer Shailendra Singh a tape of this song to listen to and practice. Shailendra took it home and played it with his family around. After the mukhda, R.D. Burman, an inveterate practical joker, unexpectedly let out a string of expletives and shocked Shailendra and his family![MR2]
