Singer, Music Director, Lyricist, Artist
Born: Aug 10, 1969

Nandini Srikar is a musician, playback singer, and guitarist. She learned to play the veena, sitar and guitar at a young age. She majored in mathematics and started her career as a software professional and was discovered by singer Hariharan who recommended her to music director Vidyasagar. She debuted with the song "I Love You", a duet with KK in the Tamil film "Uyirodu Uyiraga" (1998). Realizing how much music meant to her, she quit her job and took up music as a career.

The next few years were a struggle. She taught herself music programming and production and managed to get work in producing ad jingles. When some of her jingles were received well, she started getting more offers.

She started getting offers in films and sang for films like "Morning Raga" (2004) and even contributed with compositions like "Tu Hai Bhatakta Jugnu Koi" ("Holiday", 2006). She also began collaborating extensively in stage shows with musicians like Trilok Gurtu, Ranjit Barot, Dhruv Ghanekar, David Gilmore and Guitar Prasanna.

She made her Bollywood comeback with the song "Bhare Naina" ("Ra.One" , 2011) which was received very well and won her the GIMA Award for Best Playback Singer (Female). She followed this up with more hits - "Duaa" ("Shanghai", 2012) and "Dil Mera Muft Ka" ("Agent Vinod", 2012) in Bollywood and "Aaha Kaadhal" ("Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal", 2012).

In 2011, she released her non-film, solo album "Beete Pal" and in 2013 a single titled "Pa Pa Pa9giotis".
