Nindy Kaur is a playback singer in Bollywood. She is also associated with the UK-based band Rhythm, Dhol, Bass (RDB).
Raised in the UK, she has been singing since the age of ten and has been influenced by Bhangra. It was her husband, Manjeet Ral, singer and producer of the band RDB, who recognised her talent and encouraged her to pursue music as a career. The single she released first was “Aja Sajana”.
In Bollywood, she debuted with Aftab Shivdasani’s 2008 flick “Aloo Chaat” where she sang the songs “Boliyaan” and “Aloo Chaat”. In the following year, she sang “Om Mangalam” in the film “Kambakht Ishq” (2009) along with RDB.
In 2011, she sang the title track of the film “Yamla Pagla Deewana”, 2010, a duet with Sonu Nigam, composed by RDB. She has also lent her voice to the song “O Meri Chandni” along with Parichay for the movie “Char Din Ki Chadni” (2012).
