Sachin Gupta is a music producer, playback singer, lyricist and composer. Born in New Delhi, he was introduced to the guitar at the age of seven by his mother. Music became a passion by the time he got to college. While performing at the college festival of BITS Pilani, he was spotted by the Delhi-based world music band, Mrigya. For the next three years, he played the guitar for Mrigya and performed many concerts with them. It was in one such concert that Sachin was discovered by executives of Tips and was invited to work with them as a music producer and music director. Over the next few years, Sachin produced several indi-pop songs and albums for Tips, including the blockbuster hit, “Doorie” (2006) by Atif Aslam.
Sachin turned music director in Bollywood with the film “Dil Kabaddi” (2008). For it, he directed Rahet Fateh Ali Khan, Jaspreet Singh and Mika Singh, wrote two songs and even sang the song “Ehsaan” along with Jaspreet Singh.
Since then, Sachin has composed for films like “Prince” (2010), “Table No. 21” (2012) and “Mere Dad Ki Maruti” (2013).
